We are situated in the charming village of Ambleside, at the head of Lake Winderemere, in the heart of the Lake District. Take junction 36 off the M6 and enjoy the drive north through the Lake District, along the shores of Windermere with the spectacular Langdale Pikes in the distance. Alternatively use junction 40 and the drive south takes you along the shores of Thirlmere and over Dunmail Raise (A591) or take the A592 and see Ullswater and then brave the infamous Struggle' on Kirkstone Pass.
